Sydney Hoevel grew up in the town of Kailua, located on the island of Oahu. Since a young age, she has fallen in love with the ocean and being a island girl taken part in numerous water sports such as scuba diving, knee boarding, deep sea fishing and surfing. Although she is one very active person she love to share the love of the ocean by volunteering and teaching kids how to surf. she has participated in many Oahu beach clean ups through NOAA, and is scuba certified and now working on her Captain license for driving boats, which will help further her commitment to preserve our ocean. If she not in the water then she probably competing in ice skating or silks acrobat. While you can find Sydney surfing the swells of Waikiki or looking for chameleons on a mountainous hike, she is thrilled for the prospect of enjoying a career in New York City, where she envisions endless new opportunities ahead.
