Abbey Lee made her name modeling for brands including Gucci, Saint Laurent, Tom Ford, Calvin Klein and Versace, but it is on the big screen and stage where she has truly found her calling. Having garnered nearly every possible honor as a high fashion model, Abbey Lee made a pivot to acting more than nine years ago, debuting in a supporting role in Mad Max: Fury Road (2015) directed by George Miller. More expansive roles followed, starting with The Neon Demon (2016) by critically acclaimed director Nicolas Winding Refn. Recent films, including Elizabeth Harvest(2018) by Sebastian Gutierrez, To the Night (2018) by director Peter Brunner, and Gaspar Noé’s short Lux Aeterna which debuted in Cannes 2019, have only enhanced Abbey Lee’s reputation in cinema. Away from the silver screen, Abbey Lee made her theatrical debut in London’s West End as Yelena in Chekhov’s Uncle Vanya in 2018. She starred in the HBO TV series Lovecraft Country from executive producers J.J. Abrams and Jordan Peele which debuted August 16, 2020 to very high ratings and received a Critics Choice Television Award nomination for Best Drama Series 2021, a SAG nomination for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series and 18 Emmy Nominations. Abbey starred in the M. Night Shyamalan Universal film ‘Old’ starring Gael García Bernal. Abbey is in “The Forgiven” starring Jessica Chastain and Ralph Fiennes, which premiered at the Tribeca Film festival 2022. ‘Florida Man’ an 8 episode Netflix series starring Abbey as a lead opposite Edgar Ramirez, premiered in April 2023.
